As a Technical Communicator, I enjoy in taking messy information and processing it into a presentable state. This joy was enriched and reinforced by my Technical Communication degree from Kennesaw State University, and by practical work experience building training courses, manuals, and databases. I always enjoy learning new things such as software and processes.
I provide day-to-day systems support for ongoing learning and development initiatives. I provide user experience guidance of learning portal and social platforms. I implement and support learning projects. I provide training on social platforms including best practice documentation and guidance. I administer our LMS and our cloud-based social media platform to provide value for identifying opportunities to create efficiencies and digitalization of learning assets.
I provided expertise, support, and training to faculty, staff, and project teams for the completion of digital-learning initiatives. I provided technical support for Canvas LMS, Edx, Coursera, and other integrated LTI’s. I analyzed and resolved complex platform problems and technical issues. I assisted faculty and staff with platform capabilities, technical questions, and individualized troubleshooting. I documented and defined needs and requirements for digital-learning usage in courses. I assisted in the design/creation of platform training, documentation and support for faculty and staff, provided standard procedures for instructional staff. I maintained and updated department website.
I provided training, testing and server support to all Georgia County Election Offices. I managed and maintained the Center’s internal computing operations. I worked with system administrators on campus to insure internal and external compliance with University standards.
The Assignment In this assignment the goal was to brand / rebrand a company and create a mockup for a website company. I choose to make a fictious coffee company called Perk Place Coffee.
